Young Nigerians, Dump Irresponsibility!

It is no longer a new thing seeing young people exhibiting the #beardgang culture, creating a a cloud of doubt as to how old they really are...some of us are conversant with that yoruba slang that trended on social media in the year 2018 ('S'OMO AGE MI NI?' meaning 'do you know my age?') Let's take that with a pinch of salt!
It is disheartening to see many of  "tomorrow's leaders" exhibiting laziness and irresponsibility instead of spearheading a massive drive towards academic, social, economical, political, religious, environmental advancement. If it were possible, such people would sit at a spot, waiting to be served food in their mouths by people nearly twice their age. This is why many lack basic domestic skills such as ability to cook, wash and iron clothes, plait/barb the hair, sweep the floor, etc. Many youths device various means to boycott responsibility at workplace, they ghost and bribe their way through the system and show up on pay day. Others engage in defrauding unsuspecting clients of huge sums of money through illegitimate online businesses.
Unfortunately, those who would later occupy political offices carry on this culture into their career thereby painting a bad image of the country Nigeria. It is baffling to know that it is these kind of people that many young ladies chase after. Little wonder why there is a high rate of divorce cases in the country today.
Kudos to the few who have decided not to go with the crowd and are setting good standards in various fields of interest for posterity sake.
The Holy Bible says RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTS A NATION BUT SIN IS A REPROACH TO ITS PEOPLE.
Young Nigerians, do the right thing; build your future and dump irresponsibility!

A popular artist with a flair for nude paintings recently drew my attention to a very crucial issue I had pondered on recently when she expressed disappointment about how her concepts were being misunderstood by critics. More than 95% of comments following her post were in her favour. However none of them cared to talk about the fate of the young generation in the light of this matter.
Inasmuch as I support the need to educate the youths and teens on issues pertaining sexuality I am very much concerned about how we as artists seek to execute this task via our artworks, knowing fully well that we owe a responsibility to the young ones in terms of mental, social & cultural transformation and safety.
Furthermore, I strongly recommend that artists who seek to project their concepts to the public with regards to humanity and the sensual atmosphere should do so with an element of SHAMEFACEDNESS AND SOBRIETY if they intend to carry along the youths and teens many of whom have been and are being polluted by a pervasive avalanche of sexual perversion and other anti-social behaviors.
Let's remember that today's children are way too smart to be bamboozled by adults with regards to sexuality amongst other key issues of life.
